In NYC

Students must always be with their group and a chaperone!!  YOU CANNOT GO OFF ON YOUR OWN.  If you choose to do this, there will be undesirable consequences.  Students who are found separated from their group will be put with the director for the rest of the day.
BE RESPONSIBLE!!!  BE WHERE YOU NEED TO BE ON TIME!!!!!
When we enter NY Penn Station, we will assemble in a meeting location to determine where we will meet at the end of each day.  Remind 101 text messages will be sent to the group throughout the day to help with reminders and announcements.
Students may wear regular school clothes on Friday(after we perform), Saturday, Sunday, and Monday — as long as they meet Gaston County Dress Code Standards.
-Shorts should be at least finger-tip length.
-No bare midriffs
-No spaghetti straps
-No offensive language/topics on clothing
-Please wear comfortable shoes for walking.

Make wise decisions with your money.  DO NOT OVERSPEND YOUR BUDGET.  Keep track of how much you have and budget for each day.  It is easy to spend a lot of money on souvenirs in NYC.
Chaperones, please stay with the group—wait for students and always keep your group together.
Students are not to mingle with strangers.  Unfortunately, we cannot trust anyone we do not know.
Please make sure that you get the cell phone numbers of students and chaperones in your group and that they have your number in case someone accidentally gets separated.
Chaperones will be in charge of keeping up with tickets for each student in their group.

ANY STUDENT PROBLEMS should be directed to the assigned chaperone.  If it needs further attention, refer to the director- (Mr. Gibson)
SUBSTANCE ABUSE and SHOPLIFTING – Gaston County Public Schools Policy will be in effect. If you suspect a student is in violation, contact Mr. Gibson immediately. This could get them a quick trip to the NYPD and home at their expense.
Physical Contact of any kind – School and County rules are in effect for this trip.  Students should not make physical contact with other students.
Public displays of affection are off limits
Keep all hands, feet, and objects to yourself!
