All County Band April 7th and 8th (Select Student Only)
Students must be at Ashbrook High School by 8:15am on Friday morning and 8:45am on Saturday morning in your designated area. (APRIL 7th and 8th)
ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE A RIDE TO DROP THEM OFF AND PICK THEM UP AT ASHBROOK HIGH SCHOOL.
All-County Band Clinic= 4/7-8/17
8:15am-3:30pm Friday
9:00am- 1:00pm Saturday (THE CONCERT WILL BEGIN at 1:00PM on SATURDAY)
Students should receive their music sometime this week. It is expected to practice before you arrive at Ashbrook. All students will receive their permission forms today that will need to be signed and returned by Monday. If forms are not in by Monday the student WILL NOT ATTEND THE CLINIC.
Mr. Gibson will not be in attendance at All County Band this year do to one of our band students making the All State Jazz Band. He will be in Durham NC during this time.
It is expected that all FHS students represent well at the All County Band Clinic. If there is any problems with any students for any reason students will be removed from the band program.

Indoor Drum Line Schedule For Saturday
The indoor drum line has a performance on 3-18-17. The drum line will perform at Northwestern High School in Rock Hill SC. We will be carpooling to the event. Again, I am very proud of all of the students accomplishments in these ensembles. Here is some important information about the event on Saturday March 18th:
DRUMLINE
- Drum- line students will rehearse from 7:00am – 8:15am.
- Drum-line students will load the trailer at 8:15am.
- Drum-line students will car pool to the event.
- We will leave FHS at 8:30am.
- Drum-line performs at Northwestern High School at 10:00am.
- ETA back to FHS is 12:00pm to unload the trailer.
- All drum-line students will leave after they perform and practice at the school until 6pm.

Guard Competition Tomorrow at Northwest Gilford
The winter guard has a performance on 3-11-17. The winter guard will perform at Northwest Guilford High School in Greensboro NC. We will be carpooling to the event. Again, I am very proud of all of the students accomplishments in these ensembles. Here is some important information about the event on Saturday March 11th:
GUARD
- Guard students will rehearse from 8am-10:00am
- Guard students will car pool to the event. We will leave FHS at 10:30am.
- Bring money for concessions.
- Guard performs at Northwest Gilford High School at 3:40pm
- Award Ceremony is at 7:45pm.
- Guard students can leave early from the event with a note from their parents.
- ETA back to FHS is 10:30pm.
- Admission is $10 for adults ($8 children 5-12) Children 5 and under are free

4th Period Music Performance Assessment at Hickory Ridge High School on March 30th
4th period band students will be performing at the NC MPA festival held at Hickory Ridge High School in Harrisburg NC. This is a free concert. All students will be required to wear concert black for the performance.
The bus will leave at 11am from FHS
The band will get lunch at 12pm
Arrive at Hickory Ridge at 1pm
FHS Symphonic Band performs at 2:45pm
ETA Back to FHS is 5pm
