October 8th Competition Update

Parents and Students,

This is the latest update for the competitions that we will be attending on October 8th.

We perform at North Gaston rain or shine at 4:20pm.  If it rains we will perform a stand still in the gym. If the field is dry enough to march on we will perform outside.

We perform at Gaffney at 8:15pm rain or shine.  We will be performing outside.  The award Ceremony has been moved to 10:50pm. This puts the band coming back to Forestview at 12:30am. If you would like to take your child after the performance at Gaffney I will need a note by tomorrow. In the note please state that you will take your child after the Gaffney performance.  If I do not have a note I assume they will be riding the bus back to the school to be picked up at 12:30am. 

It is an expectation that the students ride the bus to and from a school event. However, I understand how late we will be returning to Forestview.  We will need your child to perform at both locations on Saturday.

If anything changes I will let you all know ASAP.

Here is the latest schedule: 
 The first competition is at North Gaston.  After we perform at North Gaston we will load the buses and head to Gaffney High School for Competition 2. North Gaston's ticket prices are $6 for adults and children 5 and under are free.  Gaffney's ticket prices are $8 for adults and children 5 and under are free.

Student report time to FHS is 11am

We will leave FHS at 1:30pm

We will arrive at North Gaston at 2pm

We perform at North Gaston at 4:20pm

After we perform we will feed the students before we leave to Gaffney

We will load the bus from North Gaston at 5:00pm

We will arrive at Gaffney High School (SC) at 6pm

The band performs at Gaffney at 8:15pm

Awards are at 10:50pm
