ALL DISTRICT BAND SATURDAY 1-9-16 (SELECT STUDENTS ONLY)

THIS IS THE LETTER THAT WENT HOME WITH THE SELECT STUDENTS THAT WILL BE AUDITIONING ON SATURDAY:

Dear Parent or Guardian,
Your Child has been selected to audition for All District Band.  All district auditions are when the best student players from around the Charlotte metro area come together to audition for a spot in the All District Band.  Your Child has worked very hard the past couple of months preparing for this audition. If they make the All District Band they will be performing at Stewart Cramer High School on January 29th and January 30th.  I will notify all students of their results within a week of their audition.  
 Please arrive at South Point High School in Belmont NC by 8:30AM on Saturday January 9th 2016.  Directions to the school are attached.  Once you arrive at South Point Please call the band cell phone, I will meet with you and your child to hand out audition information. (9/10 meets in auditorium, 11/12 meets in aux. gym)   Parents are to stay in the warm up area waiting for their child to complete their auditions. NO PARENTS ARE ALLOWED TO BE IN THE HALLWAYS WHERE AUDITIONS ARE TAKING PLACE!
9th-10th grade students warm up area is in the auditorium.
11th-12th grade students warm up area is in the small aux. gym area.
 I will take each student to their audition room so they know where to go and what time they need to be there.  I do not know the students audition times until the day of the audition.
 After your child has completed the audition you may take them home.  Please call/text the band cell phone before you leave and leave a message saying you are leaving and your child is with you.  Your child’s audition fees have been paid so if you plan on not attending you need to call Mr. Gibson ASAP.
