Band Booster Meeting May 9th at 6pm

Spring Band Concert 5-16-17 at 7pm

All students will wear concert black attire.  If a student does not show up in proper attire, performs poorly, or doesn't show up to the concert they will receive a 0% for the performance. If a student has all of their belongings, shows up on time, performs well they will receive a passing grade.

Graduation June 10th

Graduation is mandatory for all band members.  Students will receive a grade for attending graduation.  There will be rehearsal practice on June 9th as well. All times will be finalized by the end of May.

Solo + Ensemble Festival May 13th

The Clarinet Choir and Flute Choir will represent FHS this year at Solo + Ensemble. Our performance time is 10:30am.  The bus will leave FHS at 9am.  We should return by 1pm.  The festival is held at Lincolnton Middle School.

Jazz MPA May 12th

All Jazz band students will leave after 3rd period to attend Jazz MPA at Northview Middle School in Hickory NC. The band performs at 4:20pm and it is a free concert. Students should be back by 6pm.

Percussion Auditions for Marching Band May 17th, 18th, 19th

Auditions are from 4pm-6pm. High School Students will audition early on the 19th (During Class) so they can attend the banquet.
