Students Study For Your Final Exams

All Students have received their study packet for their final exams. ALL BAND MEMBERS MUST RECEIVE A 70% OR HIGHER TO AUDITION FOR MARCHING BAND OVER THE SUMMER. (This also means you need a 70% on your final exam to come to band camp.)

Please take this seriously.  If you do not study and do poorly on your exam you will not be in band next year.  This exam is accumulation of what you learned this year.  


The Final Exam will consist of:

50%  written exam

50%  playing portion of your exam(Graduation/Playing Test/Spring Concert)

Tommorow's Concert Is Cancelled for FHS High School Band Students

All High School students WILL NOT be performing tomorrow at FHS. I will not be able to attend. Sorry for any inconvenience. Keep practicing graduation and marching music.

Yes I am going to be at the concert this Thursday. Here is what needs to happen.
3rd and 4th period will be performing the armed forces piece AND DUPER HEROS R US with the 8th graders. These are the only piece we are performing on the concert.

Jazz Band will be performing inbetween set changes in the pit area.

Call time is 6pm

Concert starts at 7pm

Attire is concert black

Thank you for all your kind words. Mom Dad and baby are doing fine. Please remember when I am not at school you should still be rehearsing with student leadership. Don't waist time especially if you want me to get you more marching music!

AUTO BELL CAR WASH FUNDRAISER

Students please sell your ticket to raise money for the band. The date has been changed to turn money in.  Please turn your tickets in on THURSDAY May 12th. If you loose your ticket you are responsible for paying for it. Make sure all your information is placed in the payment box even if you did not sell your ticket.

Jazz Band students will leave FHS at 12:50pm this Friday for Jazz MPA.  We perform at 3:15pm at Northview Middle School in Hickory NC.  ETA back to FHS is 5:30pm.  Students will need money for lunch.
